so ive started a new bfast regime (if u must) it starts with a serving of kellogs special k cereal served with skim milk and followed by a serving of fruits. i love fruits so i have no qualms about muching on truckloads of any types of fruits, but they typically revolve around apples, oranges, kiwis, mangoes, melons, and the occasional pomengranate or two.
thing is, i am a big bfast eater, ok im a big eater full stop, but i love having huge savoury bfasts. ive never been one to settle for a slice of toast or a bowl of cereal. on weekends, i would normally make scrambled eggs which i pair with some fat sausages or even the spicy halal african ones papa brings home with some sauteed mushrooms and a grilled tomato. THAT is bfast. not sume limp toast. at the office i indulge in the occasional nasi lemak. but bfast at the ofc is normally whatever is being served in the crappy cafe downstairs which is usually roti telur or maggi grg. so unhealthy kan! like wat a way to start my mornings!
so that was y i dcided to try this kellogs special k 2 week challenge. i wont be following it by the book as it requires u to take the cereal for bfast AND dinner. i might not survive that. so im starting off slow with bfast first. depending on my level of famish-ness tonite, i will decide if i can subsist on it alone.
In the meantime, i have cut up a large tupperware of mangoes and apples into tiny bite sized bits to munch on coz i cannot not munch. its like my mouth has a mind of its own. i have to munch on sumtin or it might start to munch my own tongue.
so far i feel great! hunger pangs have not set in yet even tho i only had cereal and fruits and nothing savoury! ive got a good feeling about this. oh and just so u know.. im already 50 mins into this diet! 50 whole mins n i havent gone hungry! amazing rite!
well it is for me anyway!
